On 28 November 2022, the landmark Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect at Work) Bill 2022 (Bill) passed into legislation – a milestone in addressing workplace sexual harassment in Australia.

Watch Safetrac’s webinar now to help prepare yourself for these changes. Safetrac CEO Deborah Coram discusses the new Respect@Work Act and the various steps you can take to showcase reasonable measures. The law:

  • creates a positive duty on employers to implement measures to prevent sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimisation within the workplace; and
  • confers new regulatory powers on the Commission to monitor compliance, investigate complaints, issue compliance notices, and enforceable undertakings on corporations in breach of the legislation.
